Despite all these trends with lace etc. African prints have recently taken the fashion world by storm! Celebs have been seen rocking them and as a matter of fact they really do look good. Some have even created a whole collection out of the african prints..hmm!Although some few years back it seemed as if african designs were not exposed but to our surprise it just boomed in the international fashion industry.
Last year in the New York Fashion Week, Singer Gwen Stefani made a collection for her label L.A.M.B from African prints and am lovin em, some say she snatched some designs from the Africa Fashion Week, you be the judge lol!

African prints like Vitenge & Khangas have beautiful colors and patterns but from my opinion people usually go wrong when they overmix the colors/patterns to the extent you cant really tell what is nice and what aint. Another thing is the designs, let your mind run wild and be creative you can mix up any color or pattern with either a different material like lace etc or try a solid color and throw on accessories to complete your look.Remember to keep it to the minimal dont over do it, too much of anything is bad!
